Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Sant Hapus! Happy St David’s Day Everyone! Some Wales and Welsh-related college news to celebrate.
1. We’ve got a St David’s Day Concert going on in the concert hall tonight, with music from some famous Welsh composers, plus new compositions from two of our students.
2. Next door in the Richard Burton theatre, we’ve got a play about the Welsh Wizard, David Lloyd George.
3. Gwawr Loader and Anjana Vason, who graduated from the MA in Acting last year, have landed roles in the National Theatre Wales production, the Radicalisation of Bradley Manning.
4. Hunky Dory, the musical comedy starring Minnie Driver and a huge list of RWCMD students and graduates, is on general release in Wales today, and the rest of the UK tomorrow. It’s RWCMD-tastic!
5. Our cafe serves some rather tasty Welsh cakes all year round. But today seems like a really good day to pop in and have one (or two). Right, we’re off to do just that…
