BBC Radio 3’s Jazz on 3 programme last week was all about the Welsh Jazz scene, and what better place to record it than here at RWCMD.
The programme featured a live performance from graduate Dave Stapleton, who was performing at the college as part of the Collisions series of contemporary music events.
It also featured music from two of our jazz students, Joe Webb and Huw Williams. Joe’s track An Ant’s Apology featured, along with Huw’s Song for the Moaners.
The Jazz on 3 team also chatted to our Head of Jazz Paula Gardiner about jazz in Wales – have a listen to what she had to say.
