There are RWCMD graduates appearing in high-profile Shakespeare productions all over the country at the moment.

At the National, Lyndsey Marshal (pictured above in rehearsal as Emilia) and Rebecca Tanwen (graduated 2010) are appearing in Othello. Here’s Lyndsey and co-star Rory Kinnear talking about their roles.

This autumn, Lloyd Everitt (2010) stars as Claudio alongside Vanessa Redgrave and James Earl Jones in the Old Vic’s Much Ado about Nothing.

In the current season at the RSC, Oliver Ryan (1997) is playing Jacques in As You Like It and Rosencrantz in Hamlet, and regular RSC performer Katy Stephens (1990) appears as the ‘slinky, spiky’ Tamora in Titus Andronicus.

Alex Vlahos (2009) and Anjana Vasan (2011) both appeared in Kenneth Branagh’s Macbeth as part of the Manchester International Festival. Here’s Alex talking about the experience.

Three graduates – Jason Baughan, Matthew Raymond (2012) and Amanda Wilkin (2007) – appeared in The Tempest at the Globe.

And catch some more RWCMD actors performing Shakespeare this year, as the Richard Burton Company perform Twelfth Night.
