If you’re a fan of radio drama, you’ll be hearing a lot of RWCMD graduates coming through your speakers soon.

Will Howard – who was a BBC Carleton Hobbs Bursary winner in 2012 – has landed a role in The Archers. Will plays Shula’s son Daniel in the long-running drama, joining fellow RWCMD alumni Susie Ridell and Scott Arthur.

WIlf Scolding (pictured above in the College’s production of Picnic) – who graduated from the College this summer – was also spotted by producers at his BBC Carleton Hobbs Bursary audition, and is due to start a three-month contract with the BBC Radio Drama Company in 2014.

And Ashleigh Haddad – who graduated from the MA in Acting in 2012 – plays Lola in James M Cain’s Double Indemnity, which will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 on December 1st.

Earlier in the year, we caught up with Peter Darney, who was directing a play for Radio 4. The play – Kindness – will be broadcast on December 3rd.
