Theatre Design graduate Madeleine Girling, who graduated last year, is one of the winners of this year’s Linbury Prize – the UK’s most prestigious award for Stage Design.

The biennial prize brings emerging designers together with professional theatre, dance and opera companies. The winners receive a cash prize and a professional commission. Twelve finalists are shortlisted, and there are four winners.

Madeleine will now design Time and the Conways by JB Priestly for Nottingham Playhouse.
