He’s starred in a film alongside Minnie Driver, a BBC drama and an award-winning West End play. Now Tom Rhys Harries is making his debut at the National Theatre, in a new play by critically acclaimed writer Polly Stenham. Hotel is being performed at the National’s Temporary Theatre, which “celebrates new theatre that is original, ambitious and unexpected”.

“Shannon Tarbet and Tom Rhys Harries give delightfully fresh and funny performances” – The Telegraph’s review of Hotel

Since he graduated in the summer of 2012, Tom has appeared in Torch Song Trilogy at London’s Menier Chocolate Factory, The History Boys at Sheffield Crucible, and Jez Butterworth’s award-winning play Mojo at the Harold Pinter Theatre.

On screen, he starred in the film Hunky Dory, the World War One television drama Parade’s End, and the film Ironclad 2: Battle for Blood.

He was named as one of Screen International’s Stars of Tomorrow – looks like their prediction was spot on.
