Our Edinburgh fringe venue – Venue 13 – is open for business. The shows this year include performances by actors from the Richard Burton Company (Guttermouth and Why is Life Like Sparrows?), composers and musicians from the College (Fleeced), as well as visiting theatre companies.
Guttermouth is dirty and hilarious, and punctuated with moments of real poetic beauty” **** Review by Broadway Baby
Elsewhere at the Fringe, the gang at Not Too Tame are getting some fantastic feedback on their show, Early Doors.

The company is the brainchild of 2011 Acting graduate Jimmy Fairhurst (Artistic Director) and his fellow RWCMD actors Katherine Pearce (Co-Director) and Hanna Jarman (Assistant Director) – 11 of the actors in the company are graduates from RWCMD. Here’s one of the cast – Louise Haggerty – talking about her experiences at the festival.
Jack Brown – who appears in Early Doors – also stars in Nabakov’s Symphony at the Fringe, alongside Katie Elin Salt.
Another of our acting alumni Peter Darney is involved in two shows at the fringe – Frank Sent Me and Signal Failure. Peter is the director of both shows, which are produced by his company Em-Lou Productions. And Peter’s fellow acting graduate Rob Pomfrit plays one of the leads in Frank Sent Me.
Frank Sent Me. Best production I've seen at the #edfringe for years:http://t.co/6a9XiySm6c

Rosie Wyatt appears in Spine, which is also receiving rave reviews, and has won Rosie The Stage’s Award for Acting Excellence. The play is produced by Rosie’s former classmate Francesca Moody.
Spine could be one of the most hopeful and life affirming pieces you see at this year’s festival.” ***** PostScript
