We’re delighted to hear that two of our theatre design graduates have been appointed to the RSC’s trainee designer scheme.
Each year, the RSC chooses two emerging designers to join the scheme, and this year they are both from RWCMD.
Sophie Thomas graduated in 2013, and James Turner Donnelly is a current student on the MA course.
The pair join a long list of RWCMD theatre design graduates who have completed the RSC scheme and launched successful careers in theatre design. These include: Colin Richmond, Jean Chan, Ruth Hall, Holly Pigott and Madeleine Girling.
