A frog, a tree and dragonflies were just a few of the array of weird and wonderful characters parading around the Bute Theatre for the Wearable Art Show. Our designers were challenged with creating stunning costumes and characters in response to Ravel’s L’enfant et les Sortileges.
Following three weeks of design and making, collaboration with our music producers and stage managers and intensive dance sessions with choreographer Hannah Morris, first year theatre designers took centre stage.
Costumes created for this striking musical performance are now on display in the Linbury Gallery.
