Young Actors Studio

The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama’s Young Actors Studio is celebrating its first year in Pembrokeshire, and is offering free workshops on August 26th at Pembrokeshire College.

It’s been an exciting first year for this new arm of RWCMD’s specialist training programme, with royal performances, awards for students and staff, and young actors progressing to some of the UK’s best drama schools.

The workshops, led by industry professionals and offered to students aged 16 to 20 years, give students a real taste of the type of acting classes offered by the UK’s leading drama school (Guardian 2015) and include Improvisation, and Acting for Camera. They are also helping to raise awareness of auditions for the next academic year, which take place on 9 September. Students can also choose to attend the open-entry Theatre Workshops.
