Later in the year, several of Mark’s other compositions will be premiered and toured by a range of instrumentalists and ensembles, including the Nexus Reed Quintet in Switzerland and the Lunar Saxophone Quartet in the UK.  He is also looking forward to the premiere of a substantial chamber work in Poland commissioned by violinist Bartosz Woroch, leader of Sinfonia Cymru.

Mark, who is now a lecturer at the College, studied composition at RWCMD. His many awards include the Worshipful Company of Musicians Silver Medal, and the British Composer Awards Student Competition.

He was the Sir William Walton Trust Junior Fellow in Composition, and in 2015 he was awarded the prestigious John Clementi Collard Fellowship from the Worshipful Company of Musicians.

Mark is also artistic advisor to Sinfonia Newydd.
