Michael Lowe is launching his Musical Theatre career in fine style by winning the 2016 Welsh Young Musical Theatre Singer of the Year.
Michael, who has just completed his degree in Vocal Studies at the College, is returning to take an MA in Musical Theatre here next year.

His award-winning programme included a song from Columbine, a musical for which he has written both music and lyrics, with a finale of The Music of the Night from The Phantom of the Opera.
He fought off close competition from fellow RWCMD students Dafydd Gape and Jonathan Radford, as well as Rachel Lee Stephens at the final in Swansea on Sunday 3 July.
Michael also won the College’s prestigious Ian Stoutzker Prize for outstanding musicianship in 2015.
The feature photo shows Michael in rehearsal for his solo performance for HRH The Prince of Wales at a Royal Gala to celebrate the College in January.
