Spooky Action at a Distance is a new play by writer Eve Leigh, focusing on an anti-immigration protest in Dover and exploring themes of rising tensions and the big political shifts that are currently happening.

I think this season of new writing, of new plays for actors who are very soon going to be working professionally, is really valuable.

It gives them an opportunity to experience what it’s like to be in a rehearsal room where you are actually dealing with the time pressure of a show which is going to happen within weeks, while trying to make the show the best thing it can be.”

Elayce Ismail, Director

Spooky Action at a Distance was created in collaboration with The Royal Court Theatre.

The play will be showing at RWCMD from 28-31 March and at the Gate Theatre in London from 5-8 April.
