Congratulations to MA Opera Performance student Reisha Adama, who took time out from performing with Glyndebourne Festival Opera to win the first Ian Stoutzker Award last night.
Reisha sang her way to the £10,000 prize for outstanding musicianship in front of Ian Stoutzker (pictured left) and a distinguished panel of judges chaired by Carlo Rizzi (right).
After tweeting that it was an ‘incredible evening’ and that winning the prize as ‘an incredible honour’, Reisha headed back to Glyndebourne to continue rehearsals for The Marriage Of Figaro.
Our congratulations also go to runners-up Tianhong Yang and Byron Newton who were awarded £1,000 each by Ian Stoutzker.
