The Richard Burton Company’s celebration of new writing returns for a fourth year. The season features four brand-new plays by emerging writers and directors, performed and produced by our Richard Burton Company, and premiering in Cardiff before transferring to the Gate Theatre, London.

The College will be working with long-term NEW collaborators Paines Plough and the Royal Court Theatre, producing plays by Alison Carr (Iris), Simon Longman (Milked) and Eve Leigh (Stone Face).

We’re also collaborating again with Cardiff’s Sherman Theatre to produce a new play by composer/writer Conor Mitchell, (The Moot Virginity of Catherine of Aragon).
NEW runs from Tues 28 – Fri 31 March at RWCMD before transferring to Notting Hill’s Gate Theatre, Tues 4 – Sat 8 April.
