Community, fear and poison in a claustrophobic market town: White Sky is a new play by writer Simon Longman and director Ola Ince that explores impact of a community being forgotten.

Writer Simon Longman talks about working with actors at the start of their careers.

The joy of writing a play for these students is that the energy is tangible in the room, it’s amazing. The play has changed and developed because of who they are.”

Director Ola Ince adds, “The level of commitment is great, the professionalism is great, and their ability to adapt is really impressive.”

White Sky was created in collaboration with The Royal Court Theatre.

The play will be showing at RWCMD from 28-31 March and at the Gate Theatre in London from 5-8 April.
