“Ben had some very useful tips and tricks and also lots of in depth knowledge on how we could improve our playing,” said Adam Wilson, who is in his final year.
I really enjoyed the level of detail he went into to help us develop more stylistically-appropriate performances.
Despite the fact this was Ben’s first masterclass it felt like he’d been doing it for many years!”
Ben is now one of the UK’s top-performing horn musicians, and next year will see his debut at the Mozartwoche festival in Salzburg with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and his recital debut at the Pierre Boulez Saal in Berlin.
Very proud of this lot :)))
Thanks @bengoldscheider for a fabulous day @RWCMD and thanks @YCATrust @rwcmdhorns pic.twitter.com/nsY1qBSnKi— Roger Argente (@superbrassuk) September 27, 2019
